200K Service
I had all of my driveline fluids replaced with the Saturn/Honda spec lubricants. The shop uses a machine to do the transmission so they don't have to keep the car for two days and charge a fortune. Still, the machine required 16-QUARTS of Z-1. It only took them 1/2 an hour to do it so it was under $200 (for the tranny). I thought that was pretty good. The car drives great!

Holding off on the timing belt due to cost. I had it done at 110K so I've got a few K to play with.

Re: 200K Service
Our 07 with the Honda 3.5 has 225K on it and previous records show no timing belt so we bought the kit with water pump and tensioners and also a thermostat. Had it replaced 2 weeks ago. Good thing we did. There was small chunks breaking out of the side of the old belt. Good to go now once I figure y dome lamp problem out.

I'm glad that you caught this bad belt in time before it broke or jumped the timing - good for you! My wife's '04 Acura MDX has the same engine in it and is due for a timing belt replacement. Out of curiousity, which brand of kit did you purchase for this serivce?

Re: 200K Service
So are we that we caught it in time. That's about 140K miles on it. I used the Gates kit thru a Napa dealer. Had the belt, tensioner, pulley and water pump. Bought thermostat separately. I had it done at a shop and he seemed to like the kit as well. Also did a coolant flush while he had it apart.

Re: 200K Service
Last Gates water pump I had said, Made in China on the box. That would have been enough for me to return it. Just hope yours doesn't start leaking or making noise in a year or two.
