Hello New member from The Netherlands
Hello. i am from The Hague the Netherlands, and a lucky owner of a Saturn sc2 There are just a few Saturns in Europe, And i can say that i am the owner of the one and only sc2 in the Netherlands Ofcouse there are european variants of the Saturn like the Opel Antara (Saturn Vue) Opel Astra (Saturn Astra) But not the 90 models. I hope i can learn more here about my Saturn, but also give advice to others.

Wow, this is fabulous! Welcome to SaturnFans, raymondNL!

I'd suppose that an American had the car shipped to Europe, and perhaps to Holland specifically, from the U.S. Am I correct about that? My car, an LS1 (or L Series, generally), is built upon the Opel Vectra B chassis. I enjoy its handling characteristics, especially when driving mountain roads.

Please feel free to jump in and share your thoughts anywhere within the SaturnFans Forums, including the politics section if you so desire. Frankly, I'd enjoy reading what you'd have to say in that arena. Again, welcome, and I'm really happy that you've joined us!!!

Re: Hello New member from The Netherlands
What i heard from the previuos owner that he bought it from a person (an American) that worked at the American Embassy in The Hague.
He had it for a long time and imported the Saturn from the states in 2003.
The reason that a Saturn is very rare in europe that is very difficuld to get a licence for unknown cars after 1998
Unless to take with you to europe to start to live here.
