Tire size on Vue
 

I think 255x60x17 will fit on the Vue. Tires need 7-9 inch wheels. Any clearance problems on Vue?

I think that's way too wide(255). Isn't 235 more like it and the max possible?

Have you checked for rubbing? Run tire chains in winter?

I thikn tire sizes/fitment are on the factory sticker on the door or jamb.

What year VUe??- put it in your sig, along with engine/trans type...

Appreciate view, my Vue, 07, V6, auto. I currently run 235x60x17. I am only talking about what is possible not what is recommended. To me the tires look a bit small. Have plenty of wheel well. I am wondering if anyone has EXPERIENCE running that size tire on their Vue. I don't run tire chains as we live on SC.

Haven't read of anyone using that size. Most mentioned is 235 and below.

Yes plenty of wheel well but feel behind the tire next to the spring/strut.

How much space do you have presently?
1/2" to 3/4"? THat's the critical measure.

Yes, I checked for clearance and no problem on front. I'm rare there is at least 1 inch on clearance to nearest strut. These tires are less than 1" overall wider. That would mean less than half inch to the inside. I will take to tire shop before I order the tires. 07 Vue 121k perfect!
