Lowering springs by eye?
So I found an Eibach box by our dumpster (we're in a rich neighborhood) and there were some springs inside it, but I can't tell if they're factory or if they are in fact the Eibachs so I have a few questions...
1) How can you tell by eye if a spring is going to drop your car? 2) Will any Eibach spring fit the Ion? I don't see a car model anywhere on the box. Thanks for anybody who can help! |
Re: Lowering springs by eye?
No one in their right mind would throw away a pair of Eibachs. No matter what car they're for, there are much better ways to get rid of them. They are throwing away the factory springs since they most likely suck. The box should have a part number on it though. Look it up and see what car they're for and sell the springs on ebay :D

Eibach springs are marked "Eibach" and they have part numbers on them.

hey don't get me wrong, i love ebay too. I'm just sayin' make some money with something somewhat valuable like factory springs that are totally free for the taking. Wouldn't you do the same thing? I'm sure someone out there would buy 'em. |
