Photo of new power steering pump leaking from hole in casting. Bad pump?

Hi,
I replaced a power steering pump which seemed to be leaking form the front seal. Now, after putting in a new pump from Oreilly's I noticed there is a leak and found it to be coming from a small hole in the casting.

Did I get a bad pump or is there possibly something wrong with my rack causing the leak?

It leaves a spot like this overnight

That is the pump cover retaining ring access hole. It is used to aid in the removal of the locking ring that holds the end cover in the pump. The rear cover is leaking. Not good. Take it back.
