Timing belt & Water Pump part #??

02 Vue L81 3.0L V6 167000+Kms = 103000+Miles
Just wondering if anyone has ordered these parts from rockauto before, if so are they the correct proper fit no nonsense install parts ? before I order from rockauto, It will be my first order with them and don't want a bad experience like getting improper parts and having to pay to return them and having the vehicle down for a long period.
Rock Auto Timing belt component kit: Gates TBC kit #TCK285BP,
AC Delco water pump #252778

Water Pump AC Delco# 252778 $58.99

Any feed back on these parts would be greatly appreciated before I place an order.
Napa wants $76 for a Timing belt,$98 for a water pump and $252.00 for a t-belt tensioner. Total $481.38 taxes inc.

Those are the exact items I ordered and had no problem (I didn't bother replacing the Cam Cover Seals). Also, I don't remember if the Water Pump came with the O-ring - I ordered Fel-Pro # 35665 just to be safe.

Thanks a lot Chazberry much appreciated buy yourself a drink on me.I had issues with the PCV valve hose freezing at sub zero temps. because of poor design and low spots, which in turn pressurized the engine so oil blew by the seals (what a mess in the engine compartment, but good oil spray for the undercarriage lol) I will change them while I'm there
I have O-ring kits so I will be alright there. I am only doing this job because its a stupid belt instead of a chain, other wise, I wouldn't do it. My 98 Sierra 300000+Kms and 97 Cutlass 200000+km are OEM chains ,not a knock, tick, or noise of any sort in those and still full of p i s s & vinegar. +1 on the Mobil Syn. oil & 10,000km/3month oil changes 5,000km oil filter changes:D

Big reason I bought my first Saturn ('94 SW2): Chain, no belt. Fwiw - the belt I took out of my '03 L81 at 96k mi. showed virtually no signs of wear.

Yes, I was debating about not changing it to see how long it would last but its probably full of oil from the blow by so that would not be a fair test, other wise I would leave it.I know its an interference engine also so when the t-belt blows, KABOOM, so does the engine
IMO, if the accessory belt lasts as long as the metal structure of the vehicle , What makes the timing belt go bad any faster, its not out in the elements like the acc. belt.

Lot more stress on the timing belt. It bends back and forth a lot more and has to pull harder than the serp belt.

Just got the sweetest deal at Napa
Timing belt kit P#TCK285bp original price quoted $522.38 my price$211.

Now that is crazy mark-up us poor Canadians
Two quarts RP Synchromax $16.99
4 litres of mobil multi ATF fluid (this is not Mobil 1) from crappy tire
$29.99 recommended for T-IVs and hondas
All for only $349.79 CA including taxes, rock auto was approx. $315. not shipped
Far cry from my first post prices
Just so you all know the Felpro intake and camcover gaskets are on back order I will have to do them after :tear: Was hoping to do it all at the same time.... BUT.....
Should be a fun weekend :D
Trying to submit but the site is going wacko right now, hope I don't double post
