stalling feeling and slow to accelerate
Hi SaturnFans!
I was wondering if anyone experienced a similar problem like the one below: I have a 2008 saturn vue 4-Cyl, 2.4 Liter V6 with 90,000 miles. I started up my car this morning and there was a slight vibrating feel. I kind of dismissed it and went on my way. A few miles later, I came to a stop light and the car started to vibrate slightly, made a quiet putt putt noise and felt like it was going to stall out. When the light changed, I accelerated and there was a little hesitation but then it was fine for the next few miles. Then I slowed down to turn a corner it felt like it was going to stall out again and there was another hesitation when accelerating. Any thoughts? Thank you, Nessie |
Re: stalling feeling and slow to accelerate
So many choices. Bad gas or fuel filter?

Something to consider? Take a look at the following at YouTube:
/watch?v=XZpTtxBa4OMwatch - or search for "2008 saturn vue p0300"... The title of the video is "443-2008 Saturn Vue XR AWD-P0300, P0024 TSB Camshaft Thrust Washers & Change Timing Chains" I have a V6 with a similar hesitation... |
Re: stalling feeling and slow to accelerate
I was having misfires and hesitations for quite a while, for example when trying to maintain speed on an incline. I assumed it was clogged fuel filter, but the FF on this model is not user-serviceable. Then I changed my spark plugs per the maintenance schedule, and to my surprise, the problem went away. The old plugs were pretty wasted. Maybe this is happening to you.
