Cobalt, Ion vs Cavalier

Well is time to find another car, MY SL is about to die, 185000 miles so far, but I need something for the future.
I was thinking about a Cobalt or Ion and maybe a Cavalier.

I just found a Cobalt with 52000 miles for under $5500 and a Cavalier with the same mileage for $3500.

which one is the better car ? can you guys give me some opinions ?

id go with the cobalt. newer version of cavalier. changed name to cobalt when redesigned it 2005. next redisign changed name to cruze. might even find an older cruze for close to that money.

It depends on what year each car is.

I would buy the Cobalt no matter what if it's a 2007-2010. A Cobalt is a much better car in almost every regard than any Cavalier. I would only consider buying the Cavalier if it's a 2003-2005 in near showroom new condition, and the Cobalt is a 2005 or 2006.
