Is this a good price for this 97 SC2?

What do you guys think on the price on this 97 sc2 with 171,000? Is this about average price for a 97 with that many miles on it?

I see clean, I see more clean, and I see leather. I'd say 2K is about right given today's gas 'crisis' and the rising price of a used S. Snatch it up! (it's a manual, bonus!)

If it was from Texas or some other non rust belt state maybe with even the mileage but not for rust belt and those miles because no matter how it is optioned or looks it has 170K miles and 10 years in a salt bath. You could by it and have to replace engine or tranny in a few months and or find a lot of hidden rust issues with frame. I paid 2K for a 97 SC2 18 months ago and it only had 116K and was from Texas and had never seen any salt before we got it nad was the reason I got it and paid what I did for it. Had it been a salt belt car I would have given far less for it.

for the older S-Series cars, if you have to ask if it's a good price, then no it's not .

I think it's a decent deal. It all depends on your area, and what cars go for there. They're damn expensive here.

(This was my 7,000th post! :) )

Thats a great price. The SL1 I bought was going for 2000 and I talked him down to 1750. It had similar mileage but cloth, automatic, Tapedeck, and cruise.
