98 SL2 clutch hydraulic system

I've got a 98 SL2 manual transmission and I'm experiencing the classic clutch hydraulics problem. I've read in a few places replacing the master and slave cylinders isn't such a bad job but I've also seen a couple of posts from people saying if you have cruise control and ABS (I have both) you have to adjust them after you replace the master and slave cylinders. Is this true?

Cruise control doesn't have any affect on the job. All the cruise control components are in the cabin. With ABS you have to loosen the brake master cylinder bolts and pull the brake master cylinder out of the way to get the clutch master cylinder off. After you're done tighten the bolts back up. Other than that it's the same. If you want to be certain it's the hydraulics and not the clutch components, here's a thread that shows how to test it.
