New to the site and just astonished at the rich, in-depth material everywhere. My black SC2 was acquired by me from my niece about 8 years ago when it had some 30K miles on it. Now it's about to turn 120,000 and a lot of deferred maintenance is well overdue. (That could apply to me, personally, as well, as I turned the big 6-0 two weeks ago.) As I write, the car is up on jack stands with the front right tire off, mudflaps off, oil changed, coolant drained and refilled with water (was going to flush before refilling with DEX-Cool), and the ECTS replaced. But when I started the engine to check for leaks, I could see that the source of my sudden and massive coolant leak was actually from the water pump. So it goes! I guess I should change the thermostat as long as I have to get more parts and drain it again.
