I do like the idea of using 'Saturn Fans' in the name.
I am also itching to really get into creating the logo. Sorry I am so busy at the moment.

I think International Saturn Enthusiasts Club sounds pretty official.
The ISEC for short.
Or maybe just Saturn Fans International. That sounds pretty good as well.

I like the idea of having "Saturn Fans" in the name too, though it may prove to be too cumbersome, so I'm not wed to it.

I think any of the ideas you guys came up with are OK.

I don't really want to beat this into the ground, but I wanted to come up with something we're all relatively happy with so we can move on to the next thing.

For some reason, Dummo's suggestion of
"Saturn Fans Motor Club • of North America" sounds dignified to me. The idea of having "Motor" club in the name makes it clear that we're not a bunch of astronomers with a fascination with the planet Saturn..... some how Motor Club sounds cooler than Car Club to me. "Automobile" could also be used.

North America vs. International: Don't have a strong feeling about that.... CORSA is an international association even though the "A" at the end is for "America"

Do people feel strongly about the "Fans"?

Dummo, if we used one of the two above (Saturn Automobile Club) ideas, if there are two many letters, perhaps the word "Saturn" could appear across the top arc and either "International" or "of North America" across the bottom arc and the words "Automobile Club" could be in smaller letters under the word "Saturn?"

I also like the word "motor" in the name... for the same reasons. Probably because I used to own a bunch of British cars.

As I understand it, the name should suggest:

International in scope.
Unambiguous ... it's about the car brand.
An organization of enthusiasts.

I don't think we can beat it to death, as it's pretty important.

My only concern with "Fans" in the name is that it might suggest that the club is part of SaturnFans... when, as I understand it, it is a separate entity that enjoys a good relationship with SaturnFans.

Dummo: What about a stylized sawtooth wheel for the gear part of the logo? Sorry, I just love those wheels. Edit: geartooth would also work and is less busy, allowing more room for text.

Car owner clubs have a British heritage so using the logic of 85HP above going that way makes sense. The final name should only contain the actual car name and not allude to other organizations. International seems to fit as there are international owners who participate in the S-Series Forum.

VI have a preference for the first one... It sounds more official.

Saturn Motor Club International does sound somewhat better to me, after giving it some thought.

Both have multiple meanings per google but #1 does sound better.
