View Full Version : When is the Vue 08 coming to Canada?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. I just recently purchased a Vue 07, FWD, 4 speed automatic on May 13th. I was going to switch to a V6 engine but now that I found out there is an 08 model on the way, I have a new obssession. Does anyone know how soon the 08 will be shipped to Canada? I have 30 days to exchange my vehicle and I hope they arrive before the deadline. Thanks.

Not a chance it'll be here in 30 days. :no: Probably won't see it until the fall.

^ Thanks, I will try calling me dealership to see if they can get one in before May since they owe me one big time. It would be sweet if I'm the first to drive one around my street. :cool:

Production of the '08 Vue began this past Monday. They will begin shipping from the plant either towards the end of this month or the beginning of May. I don't know what the allocation is between the US/Canada or when shipping to Canada will begin.

I'd hope so, this is GM , they know how to get an assembly line working...

I am going to guess they should have at least 4000-5000 out by the end of the month. Figure that as the low end giving them 48,000 to 60,000 units a year... I don't think they are going to be pushing out much more than that at least not right away...

I forget where I read, but the 2006 Vue sold something like 88,000 units last year? I wonder what the totals will be for the 2007's, as their model year wasn't actually a full year.

You cannot change the car for another model year, you MUST get the same vehicle.

Unless that car does not exist, which, it does.

I agree with saturncanuck, you can't change it for another year model vue. I have a neighbor who just bought an outlook, it's too big for him so he decided to trade back in for an 08 vue, but they told him he had to trade for another 07', doesn't have to be the same model, but it does have to be the same year model. The 08s aren't out yet anyway, but it wouldn't matter if they were...
