I just wanted to alert everyone that I will be moving SaturnFans to a new, larger, faster server this weekend. I do not anticipate any extended service outages. If you have difficulty connecting to the site, please send a message to me at core@erols.com. If all goes as planned, the new forums should online by tomorrow evening with a few new features...

Due to some problems restoring the database on the new server, I'm going to have to delay moving the forums until later this week. :hmpf: I apologize for the delay.

Much of the data from this server has been transfered to the new server, but I am still working on fixing a database error that occurs whenever I try to restore this forum on the new site. I haven't had much time to troubleshoot the problem (or update this site with new 2003 model info), but I hope to make some progress this weekend.

I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up... the big move is (finally) set for this weekend. Watch site listed in my previous post for updates beginning on Friday. I've pretty much finished most of the testing and will move the last bit of data later this week. The domain will hopefully swing over by Monday.

I'll be available at core@erols.com if you have any questions or problems during the migration.

When will e-mail be up? I just came back from vacation and not being able to get my e-mail is aggrivating.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you like it. The new server will help me support the growth the site has seen in the past few months. I was hoping to get more of the changes online already, but they're not quite ready yet. The webmail should be back up online real soon. I miss my webmail access too.

Charlie, please get the e-mail back up soon. I just got back from a 2 week holiday myself. At least I set up my mail filters before I left or else I'd be in deep poop.

I need my Saturnfans e-mail back! I just can't deal with Hotmail anymore. :mad:

Just an FYI for all the SaturnFans Webmail users... the service was back up and running as of this morning. If you have any trouble logging in to get your mail, let me know.
