After driving over some of my usual roads, bumps and dips. I find the front end of the car slightly quieter and definitly more damped. One test was going through a drainage "Dip" where the front end usually bounced and clunked. With the Monroes there was no clunk and quick damping of the front end oscilllation. I previously installed Monroes on the back so the front end was bouncy. The OEM struts I removed had 43000 miles and had very soft if any compression damping. So far I like the new ride.

I like the "sound" of it already Bob. Keep us posted. I'm still willing to try them despite them first coming out.

My question: Will the Monroe struts produce a noticable difference over a pair of NEW OEM struts?

What about price difference Monroe's are under $80 or so what are OEM. If someone with relatively new OEM's can try to bounce the front end of the Vue, that might be a good comparison. The Monroe's don't oscillate at all, with a quick push down on the fender the Vue moves about an inch and then comes back to neutral.
