On the way home tonight when I push the accelerator at all on my Vue (2004 V6), it stutters and shakes like it is running out of fuel. If I "feather" the gas pedal, I can slowly accelerate, but have trouble on hills. I stopped at a gas station and put trans in "P", I can very gently push the pedal and even get the motor to redline, but if I push it to the floor or even half-way to the floor, it stutters and faulters never getting above 2000 rpm.
My dash doesn't show any warning lights (making me think that there are probably no codes to be read; am I right?), but I have done some research on this site. Seems like maybe TPS (Throttle position sensor) if so, where is this sensor located? Also possibly a vacuum leak, or EGR. Any other suggestions, ideas? It's Friday night, need to have this running by Monday!

Being that the VUE is a throttle by wire system, the position sensor is built into accelerator pedal ass'y. Part# 15148392
