my mother owns an 04 vue, i drove the thing the other day and the low beam head lights seem extremely low. i was driving in snowy weather and honestly could hardly see. my dad told the dealership about it, they "supposedly" checked it out and everything was fine but it's time to take matters into our own hands.
has anyone had similiar problems with these headlights? does anyone know the proper way to adjust them? can they be adjusted?

Did the dealer just 'look' at them, or did they properly adjust them? I can't recall if the manual has adjustment guide in it...I have an 06 i4, so it probably has a different adjuster (white hex adjuster on top of HL housing). I used the instructions from Hella fog lamp install to adjust mine...park 25 feet from concrete wall (flat and level), measure HL height at car (ground to top of beam), then at wall (top of beam)...they should be identical...fog lamps should be six inches lower. Cheers. :)

my parents to it too the dealer, my dad who was a diesel mechanic for Mack Trucks for 20+ years talked to the saturn mechanic and he said that "the headlights were within spec."
whatever that means. my dad's been around, he said that the guy probably just looked at them and made sure they were lit. thanks for the info though, well give it a try this weekend hopefully.
