UPS just delivered the new Monroe Vue front Struts. I hope they were worth the 6 months that I waited.

I haven't been keeping up with these. Are they suppoes to be stiffer valved than the factory VUE struts?

Not at all. They happen to be the only aftermarket struts available, so we're hoping they're good. The dealer wants four prices for the 'factory' ones.

God I hope so. The stockers are a bit on the soft side for my liking.

great! I will probally need to replace mine after spring. When Michigan has most of the pot hole (canyons) filled with patch. My front end has started rattling in the front when going over bumps. The canyon holes have probally destroyed the upper strut mounts. This happened to a Ford Taurus I had a while ago. Good to know I will not have to go to a Dealer to get struts now.

Installed Struts today and had Vue aligned. The ride is stiffer but not harsh, but this is comparing them to OEM Struts with 43000 miles on them. I used to have a bounce when physically pushing down on the front end of the car, but now you can feel the struts dampen quickly and return to neutral without occilating. Also there is no noticable squishing noise as some people have commented about on the OEM set. My vue has stock steel 16" wheels with Michelin XE4 tires so the ride may be different with other wheels. Hope this helps.

That sure did help Bob. They still haven't made their way to my auto parts guy in Yonkers yet. Guess we will wait another 4 years for a Chiltons Book....

'My front end has started rattling in the front when going over bumps'

This is your sway bar end links. The top of the link attaches to the strut.

enginebreak: They still haven't made it to NTB where I had it aligned. I had to order it thru Strutmasters, who had to get it directly from monroe. Monroe shipped them directly to me. They were probably one of the first sets out of the factory.
