Hi. I am new to the forum. I started having a problem with the windshield washer not spraying a day ago -- right after a snow storm. We filled the resevoir with fliud, made sure the fliud was not frozen, tried using a hair dryer to heat the line -- no luck. It also sounds like the motor is not even trying to work. Any suggestions?

You check the fuse? I assume you had windshield fluid that wouldn't freeze? Apparently, the spray nozzles have been known to go out, but it seems unlike your problem...Try the rear windshield sprayer? :)

Rear is not working either. Do you know which fuse or relay would control that motor/pump? The manual is pretty vauge.

Well, it sounds like a fuse or the motor is shot...as for fuses..haha
I've been messing around with my VUE putting in LEDS (interior and exterior), fog lights and DC/AC converter, and trying to find what fuse controls what, is rather confusing....Of course, I blew a fuse and I couldn't find it, so i took it in to the dealer...the moral here, is look at more than one (both underhood and passenger footwell fuse panels). I don't have my manual in front of me, but if I get the chance I'll PM you when I do look...doesn't your manual have like three or four pages devoted to the fuse panels, telling you what fuse is what? :)
ps- maybe i should scan the fuse box pages and post them....

You know, I had that very same problem. But, my motor still made a noise. I don't know if you have any gunk in the bottle, but I did. At the bottom where the motor hooks to it, there is a small screen in there. Mine was plugged full of I don't know what. Looked like snot, but I never sneezed into my tank. You can't see it from the opening on top, you'll have to pull out the tank and pull it apart. If the fuse thing doesn't work for you that is.
You'll have to pull the rad overflow tank off and move it to the side to pull the washer fluid talk out tho. Just so you know.

I could not get any Fluid when I depressed the lever to dispense washer fluid. I pulled the radiator over flow tank, disconnected the top hose(there is also one other hose on the top to allow for tank drainage) and pulled off the sensor on the bottom. After that I was able to get to the washer tank, were I had to disconnect the supply line going to the sprayers and unhook another sensor going to this tank. After that I emptied the tank and checked the pump. The pump was working so I tested each line(one going to the front of the VUE, and one going to the rear window wiper. Apparently, between the rear wiper, and the pump supply going out I have a leak. I was able to plug the rear supply to the pump, and the front one sprays just fine. So, I'll have to trace the supply line going to the rear washer/wiper. Pump was not bad, just a line disconnected. BTW. Our VUE is a V6 '04 model, and all the bolts on the tank assembly were metric sizes. I'm guessing that is because the motor is a Honda. Hope this was helpful.

All the Saturn I've owned used a multitude of metric fasteners. Not a Honda problem. The top post battery connections are most likely because of the Honda engine.
