I have seen and heard a couple of you guys have lifted your Vues a couple inches. I'm wondering how you did it and if you are running larger tires.
Reason being is I want to run 245/70-16s (since what I want doesn't come in our size) on mine but when I mount them, the front spring/shock mount is supposedly in contact with the tire.
Now the spring spacers won't fix this as the mount is fixed to the lower suspension and not the body.
So are you guys running stock diameter tires with lifted suspensions, or what?
This is for my 03 Vue V6 AWD.
The one solution I've come up with is wheel spacers to push the tire out about an inch and out from under the mount.
