I am familiar with SaturnFans, but just recently registered. I am on my 2nd Vue. I have a 2006 Saturn Vue, that has already had the BCM Replaced and now it is doing this thing where when I shift from 1st Gear to 2nd Gear the Handbrake lights comes on. It only seems to do this during that shift period. I even stopped the car on a flat surface and rev'd the engine to see if that did it, but it did not.

Does anyone have any ideas about this? I know it is a trip to the dealership, but I would like to have some sort of idea before I go, because it will require a day off work for me.

might be the switch that operates the light. usually located by the hand brake lever toward front of vehicle. would make sense that shifting from first to second would
'jar" the switch and if it has a bad connection might cause light to come on.
