04 Vue - rear shocks - where to buy?

Well refusing to pay $200 from the dealer, I ordered the Monroe part which no one seems to even have a listing for locally.... I ordered the rear shocks for my 04 Vue from autopartswarehouse.com (big mistake). They didn't even pack the shocks before shipping. They taped the two origonal shock boxes together and slapped a UPS sticker on them. Of course, they came dented - both of them. The one is doable but the other rubs when the shock is compressed.

Long story short - don't buy from them. I have a claim in with my CC company and currently awaiting a resolution.

In the meantime, I need rear shocks!

Does anyone know where to purchase? I struck out every single local place. I'll chance it and order Internet again if a reputable place.

Where are you located?

I see the Monroe parts on the Checker/Schucks/Kragen/Murray's website

Not all auto parts stores carry Monroe. That's the only one around me that does. Others carry only Gabriel or maybe KYB.

Just be aware the shipping method you related is pretty much standard for shocks with these mail-order houses.
