2008 Two-Mode Hybrid Better?

Here's a quick overview, but what do you think?

It will get more mpgs, but at what price? Those battery packs aren't cheap, and neither is building a two-mode drive train.

Don't get me wrong. I own a 2007 GL and would really like a a two-mode. But the price difference between something like the 2007 GL and a true two-mode is enough that the GL is affordable and the others are not.

If the new one comes out at under $25000, then great, but I'm expecting it to be up around the 28000 mark.

It's different, but not necessarily better. For me, I'd say that my VUE is better than a Rolls Royce, because it fits my needs.
