Towing with 4 cylinder standard VUE

I'm looking to purchase the 4 cylinder standard transmission VUE. I like the economy of this package which works well for 95% of my driving, but I also need to pull a boat a few times a year with an all up weight of approx. 1300 lb. The VUE is rated for towing 1500 lb. Any experiece out there with towing with this 4 cylinder-standard package.
