Can't set clock on new 2006 Vue

I'm usually pretty good at this, but for some reason I can't change the clock setting on my basic CD radio in my new Vue. I press the clock button, get the hours or minutes flashing, then try to turn the tuning knob, the seek buttons(as prescribed in the manual) and absolutely nothing happens. Can anyone help?

Been der dun dat. You must turn the dial on the far top passenger corner of the radio move the hours & minutes after you press the clock button. Drove me nuts but after 2 days I figured it out.

That is the tuning knob, I believe. Done that. Unfortunately does nothing. I will keep trying. Thanks.

I don't have that specific radio but can you push one of the "preset" buttons to choose hours or minutes, and then adjust with the knob? That's the way it works on mine.
If I hit the button, it highlights the minutes for adjustment.

Are you doing it with the radio on?

Ok. Checked the manual for the base CD radio without date display...
This is what you have, right?
Looks like you are doing what it tells you to....
The forward and reverse buttons are also supposed to work.
You have to start changing the time within 5 seconds or it will set to whatever time is on the display and you will have to start over.
All I can suggest is that you try it with the radio on and with the radio off to see if it makes a difference.... It doesn't specify in the manual.

Finally got to adjust the clock. Yes, the radio needs to be on when making an adjustment. Having the accessories or ignition on is not enough. Thank you for your help.
