Does anyone know what the mpg will be for the new outlook.
Also, I am debating purchasing a Rendezvous or waiting for an outlook. Does anyone have the dimension information to compare the size etc of the two vehicles.:usa:

Welcome to the forums.
If you run some general Internet searches, you'll find some specs for the Outlook's dimensions. Off the top of my head, I know the Outlook is about a foot longer, but I'm not sure what else. As such, you get a more comfortable 3rd row in the Outlook with space behind the seat, which isn't the case with the Rendezvous.
The Outlook's early estimates are 17/25 for a FWD model and 16/24 for an AWD, which is about right for where it's placed (between minivans and midsize SUVs).
Personally, I would wait for the Outlook. The Rendezvous is due to be dropped soon, for one thing. The Outlook is on a newer and safer platform, with many more safety features. The Outlook's interior looks like it will blow the Rendezvous away. The Outlook is already supposed to have more features than than the Rendezvous.
(My 2 cents. :D)

the rendezvous is more around the size of the vue while the outlook is closer to the size of the tahoe overall.. outlook is more of a honda pilot competitor, while the rendezvous would be CRV... hope that puts it into better perspective.

You could probably get a pretty good deal on a Rendezvous, but in my opinion the Outlook is a lot better in pretty much every aspect.

Hell, it's a no brainer.. You can get a 2006 Rendezvous on Ebay for a buy it now of $18k with 8k miles on it and a full warranty.

The Outlook has a better powertrain, has more safety features, is more spacious, and has a higher quality interior. The Rendezvous is nice, but the Outlook (as well as the GMC Acadia) will be better.
