HVAC - No Fan High Speed

The high speed on the HVAC fan on our 2003 Vue has stopped working. The fan switch will not stay in the 4 position but returns to 3 when we try to put it in 4. When putting in position 4 it has a spring-back feel and the blower stops working until we let it back into the 3 position. Is this a bad switch, or is there another likely problem that would have these symptoms?

I've been looking since mine got cracked. Found one on saturnparts.net. Part number 22703512.

It is a bad switch but it can be repaired. You can take the switch apart and clean up the small amount of melted plastic /excessive grease by the high speed contact. I repaired both of them in my vues over a year ago and they are still working flawlessly.
