Ok gang - I just finished doing the right rear ('03 FWD V6 - 64k mi.). Easy job actually. :) I purchased the Hub Assy for $116.34 from these guys . . .

They lead you to believe it's a Timken part, but the box said "National Hub Assemblies" and "Federal-Mogul Corp." It also said "Made in USA" - but it came with Chinese newspaper for packing material - you be the judge.
Anyway, I can't believe they used ball bearings in this application!!! Apparently a little bit too much cost cutting. Fortunately it's only about an hour job - 4 13mm bolts. Don't take the bolts all the way out before smacking the old hub free or the whole backing plate will drop off. I'll probably be doing the left side soon.

Can you give detail directions to change it out. Step 1 - Remove tire, Step 2 - Patially Unscrew 4 13mm bolts? Step 3 - Knock like hell on the hub?

Thanks.

Note: This is for FWD only - I didn't have to deal with a rear axle.
And make sure you get the right hub assy - "w/" or "w/o" ABS sensor.
1 - Chock another wheel, jack car and remove wheel
2 - Back off brake adjuster to retract brake shoes
3 - Remove brake drum retainer spring nuts from 2 studs
4 - Remove brake drum (may require some Liquid Wrench and some banging).
5 - Back out 4 - 13mm bolts (deep socket or extension may be needed for one)
6 - Hammer on alternate sides of hub to free it from backing plate (mine didn't take much)
7 - Disengage 4 bolts from hub (try to leave backing plate hanging from bolts)
8 - Put a little Locktite on bolts and install new hub
9 - Reverse the other steps to finish

Good luck!
