Radiator Fan Blues

:upset: I'm new to this board, so bear with me if I goof up.

I am struggling to get a radiator fan installed into a 2002 Saturn VUE, but I just can't find a way to get it into the limited space I have to work with.

Does anyone know any tricks for fitting it back in?

Have you tried removing the two upper radiator mount brackets so that you can pivot the radiator foward?

:D Thanks. I ended up removing the extension for the oil cap and was able get the unit to slide into place. I had a little trouble with the upper radiator hose and would remove that before starting again.

Anyway, that seems to have cured our overheating problem and by doing it myself I got it done for a third of the amount quoted by the local dealer.
