My 2002 Vue had a bad case of the squeaks, especially when turning the wheel. Some nice gentleman tech on this forum gave me the number of the kit I needed, and said it had specific instructions. I called the dealership and they quoted me an approximate price for the kit and for them doing the fixing. I let them do it, and of course, they charged me more. (I miss my Osceola Saturn service!!!!) It eliminated most of it, but still squeaked when the steering wheel is turned to the right. I heard it on the way home but thought maybe the grease just needed to spread a little with the wheel turning. Now it's getting louder again. Could you please give me the kit number, and tell me anything else it might be, too. I live an hour and 20 minutes away from the dealership and find them not the greatest. I used to drive in to the Osceola Saturn and ask for an oil change, and it would be nooo problem. They would fit me into their schedule. This one doesn't like walk ins, so if I'm in the area, it's too bad for me.
