I’m new to Saturn’s and this site so I’m sorry if this topic has been brought up before. I recently received a 03’ 6 cylinder AWD VUE as a gift and I’m not one to roll stock, so I want to lower it. I was just wondering if there are any other lowered VUE owners that could give me an idea of the difficulty of the project (I have lowered several s10’s and Dakotas so I’m not completely mechanically ignorant), recommend and kits (I was thinking about the sprint 2.25/2.0 kit) and any information on camber issues. Thanks for any info.

When you install a lowering kit (shorter springs), do you need to replace the shocks with shorter ones since you are compressing them 1 to 2 inches?

The rear is a piece of cake, and the only hard part about the front is getting the springs off the struts.

You don't need to buy new shocks or struts, as they won't be bottoming out. (In the rear there are bumpstops too)

The first time I drove my vue after lowering it I had a constant smile on my face, I knew I did something right :-) It was much more fun to drive fast on curvy roads. Still tippy, but not as bad.
