I recently had the dealership replace my rear differential because it was making a tremendous amount of noise. Since it was replaced, I have a driveline vibration between 45 and 55 mph. The dealership and Saturn Corp. say this is normal, but the truck didn't have a vibration before the differential issue. Does anybody have any ideas as to what may be causing this problem and how to fix it? By the way, the tires have been balanced in an effort to eliminate the vibration; this didn't work.

there is a rubber grommet in my rear drive line that is held up with u bolts my grommet wore through caused the drive line to vibrate as it rubbed against the u bolts, dunno if this is your issue but after replacing grommit and balanced drive line fixed my issue. grab hold of drive line if there is room to move grommet has gone bad...just an idea

There are a couple of TSBs regarding driveline vibration for AWD Vues, and I'm assuming yours is a 2004 or older since you needed to get the AWD replaced.
My 2004 AWD vibration was fixed by the hanging bearing one:

My '03 AWD had a bad vibration right about the speeds where you describe yours. The solution was to replace the drive shaft support bearing. It is a 2 piece shaft, with the bearing pressed onto the rear half.

Replacement was around $455 out the door with tax and shop fees.

Thanks everyone. The dealership mentioned to me the driveshaft hanger bearing and said it was fine. But I will check the u bolts. Oh, my Vue is a '04 V6 AWD.
