Just got a 2 1/4" pipe from cat to dynomax super turbo muffler and sounds great but after driving with it for a day now I was wondering how I could smooth out the noise a bit, sounds a little rough at very low rpm and very high rpm,? any ideas? thanks

The sound you are hearing is completely normal. You could always throw a silencer on the end of it. Or you might want to put a resonator in between the cat and the muffler. But that might give it a more deep throaty sound. A short ram or a CAI might help also.

ok well thats good to hear its normal. CAI is on the way from california and should be here soon, hope it takes care of it, how much are resonators? like a ball park figure?

A decent resonator costs roughly around $200 - $250

The longer the quieter. Just make sure you have enough room to fit it. I know on a 97SC2, a 24" fit good. I probably could have fit a longer one if I had the time to hunt one down:rolleyes:
