do you have to remove the door panel? I thought you just pulled the cover off the speaker and the screws were underneath. Haven't done my Vue yet, but that's how mt last car was.

Is there and nobody here that can help me with this? I stopped at my local dealer today hoping to get some answers from them, but there was nobody their that knew how to remove the door panels on a 06 Vue, the mechanic that I used to get most of my answers from Left their to go work at another dealer.
I would appreciate any help thanks.

Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door
Removal Procedure
Remove the inner door handle.
Remove the upper extension trim panel. (behind mirror, where tweeter would be located)
Remove the screw located behind the trim panel.
Remove the push pins from the door panel.
Using a small flat-bladed tool, remove the pull handle escutcheon from the inside door by disengaging the retaining tab at the bottom of the escutcheon.
Remove the trim panel fasteners located behind the escutcheon.
Remove the trim panel fasteners located at the bottom of the door.
Pull up on the door trim panel to disengage the trim panel hooks from the sheet metal.

Thank you JPDucketts For your response. I am not sure how to remove the door handle does the wood trim pry out, and if so do you pry it loose from the top or bottom?

I need this information too, but I need to know:

"how" to remove the door handle.
"how" to remove the upper extension trim panel.
Do you miracle them off, or is there a procedure for removal? I can remove them with a big hammer, but I would like to be able to put them back! :dizzy:
