Rear Bumper

Hi everyone, bit of bad news. My wife got 'bumped' this morning on her way to work and our Vue has a nice crack and 5 inch scratch in the rear bumper.:cry: The good news is my wife is ok! :D

Wondering if you all would know where I could find a price on a replacement rear bumper for my 2.2L '04 Vue? I have googled it and I only come up with a 'rear bumper reinforcement' from RockAuto.com. Not sure if this is the actual bumper or if it is one piece of the entire bumper assembly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Removed mine to install a hitch and it was easy. becarful of the side tabs though.

Thanks! Will have to check car-part.com,I did not see any on ebay at the present moment. I did call my local dealer yesterday and they quoted me $317.30 for just the plastic bumper. Think I will keep trying the web.

Yup, my wife did the same thing. For over $300 for a new piece of plastic, we can wait on that. Let me know if you have any luck finding ones cheaper.

You can usually find the bumpers on car-parts.com or flea bay. Ebay they run around 35 to 50 and the car-parts.com are 50 to 200. The issue you have with the used ones is they are usually removed for a reason.. ie accident. You can get the new unit from GM for 10 to 30 % off if you look around on the web. By the time you pay shipping though....
