2006 6 cyl towing

Need some input on towing an 18 ft. flats boat with a 6cyl vue. approx. wt of boat is 4000lbs ?? maybe any input would be great. thanks bob:)

It's too much weight. The maximum towing capacity of the VUE V6 is 3,500 Lbs, and th at's not counting what gear and such you have inside or your extra passengers. You may be fine on flat land, but I wouldn't trust it at a launch ramp or in hilly terrain.

Thanks I thought the same. Looks like I will have to get a p/u. Side question I live in tampa bay.Any suggestions were to go for a cash buy on a 06
