2006 Saturn Vue - Headlamp Issue

I purchased a 2006 Saturn VUE about 6 weeks ago - have been experiencing a problem with the headlight system. The DRL running lights have stopped working at various times - I have had it back to the dealership but they have been unable to find a problem - as would be expected when I take it in to the dealership the lights are working fine so they cannot find a problem. The Saturn Vue also has a built in security system - so normally when I lock the vehicle from the "keyless entry" fob the doors lock - when I press the lock button a 2nd time - the horn sounds and the parking lamps flash indicating that the vehicle is locked and secured.
But I did notice that when the DRL lights are not working - the horn function of the security lock system also no longer works - when I press the lock button the second time - the parking light flash but no horn sound.

If anybody has heard of or experienced the same problem - I would appreciate if you could share what you have been able to find out...

The horn, lights and security are controlled by the body control module.

Sounds like it may be the culprit.
