The turn signals on my vue will work fine one day and then the next they will be intermitent. If they stop working I can shut the engine off and restart and the signals will work again. They may work the rest of the day or they may stop again in 5 minutes. I replaced the switch thinking that would solve the problem but it didn't. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot for any help.

Reasons for not digging up ollllllllld threads. We havn't seen groshy2003 since 09-15-2005 and the two that thye made.

There is a chance that you hazard switch is the problem. The signal flasher is in the hazard switch.

I concur, my 2002 vue was having the same problem and the issue was resolve with a new hazzard switch. The part had to be special order by Saturn and parts and labor came out to around $250.00

My 02' is having the same problem. Do these cars have an actual flasher to replace? I looked under the dash, napa and carquest dont have it in thier computers. where is it or is it something different on these cars than an actual replaceable flasher unit?

Are you driving my Vue!! Mine does that also, along with the other issues we've discussed. I have to flick the hazzard switch when my signals don't work.

Yes, to fix this issue you must change the hazard switch. It's been commented on several times on here by others. Our Vue is currently expereincing the same issue and I'm in the market for a new switch.

As for the cost of replacing it, if you have any simple knowledge of vehicles, buy the switch and replace it yourself. There is no way you should be paying $200+ to change out a $40 part...

No. The hazard switch has the "flasher" built into the unit. Stupid design when you can fix most flashers for $10 in parts...

i know im late, but it is the hazard switch, thats the actual flasher too. Notice the clicking noise coming from the switch when you turn.
