Scratches in the dash board

Has anyone found a way to hide or repair the scratches that occur so easily in the cheap plastic dash boards and side panels of the early VUEs?

I use Son of a Gun/Armor All type protectants on all the black areas of the dash and the grey and black areas on the doors/doorjambs. It helps cover up many surface scratches, and the protectant helps with future scratch prevention.
