I have searched everywhere to get info on how to supercharge my vue. Eaton said have to find brackets. Does anyone have or seen information on a way to gat a supercharger on a 3.5L???? The street play was one of a kind i guess. Please let me know!! stephan1652@comcast.net Will the transmittion handle a supercharger?? Also doess the injen intake add any performance? The factory intake seems pretty free flowing with a large opening in the box. I put a K+N in it with the TRD cat back exhaust. I have added I think every add on you can, just think a supercharger it really make them move nicely. Thanks!!!!!

Only thing that I can think is to check Honda boards to see if they have anyone that has done it. Honda engine and as far as I know the trans is a Honda one as well.

I seen a 3.5 supercharged motor out of a Saturn on eBay awhile back, might keep an eye out there.

What TRD exhaust did you put on a Vue? TRD only makes parts for Toyota (TRD = Toyota Racing Developement)

Thermal Research and Development. They make exhausts for many vehicles including Saturns.

I'm used to people calling them Thermal, not TRD. Kinda thought that was it, but I sill just know TRD being associated with Toyota

Speaking of the exhaust... did you notice a performance increase with the aftermarket exhaust?

Well the exahust system will loose a bit of low end but really has a heck of a mid range. One thing I do not like about my system is it is too quiet!!!! Buddy of mine said really sounded mean when I passed him. At low speeds doesnt vibrate the body like cheap systems. Well worth the money. Cant speak about high end.....damm 100mph limit :{ Plus just looks better!

Comptec makes superchargers of the Acura 3.2CL and 3.5TL. Isn't that the same motor that's in the VUE/Pilot/TL? I'm sure it's out there and availible.

Same displacement, different engine family though. The VUE engine is shared with the MDX, Pilot, & Odyssey. The cars have the other one.
There isn't a supercharger for the 3.5 in the VUE/MDX as far as I know. I recall reading that Comptech did the install for the SEMA car. I'd start with them.

Not to be the rain on your parade, but unless you enjoy putting in new transmissions, I don't think any sort of boost is a good idea. Even if you were able to strap on a s/c, the PCM is not exactly user-friendly, there is nothing out there right now for tuning it. If you can manage to find a way to get into the PCM and tweak settings, LET US KNOW, cuz there are plenty of people out here who would love to change a few things.
It is a generally held belief that Honda makes great engines, but not so great automatic transmissions. If we had a stick, I'd be all for it, but as it is, I think the transmission is the weakest link in the V6 Vue. I baby mine with fresh fluid so hopefully it won't ever have problems, but even beyond the transmission, the rest of the drive train was not designed with 300+ HP in mind. Considering that the original Vue V6 had only 185HP, and we're 65HP over that already, do you think adding another 50HP is really a good idea? Your CV joints may not be able to take it. It is still a front wheel drived car, after all.
Seriously, good luck, keep us posted. Let us know if our collective interest can help out in persuading any company to do something for you. A group may be behind you, assuming the price isn't too astronomical.

I just thought if I could do it for under 6k I would. I just like to have something different. I bought this VUE so my dog didnt ride in my M3. Well I love this vue so much and I just sold the M3 b/c it sat in the garage. With the sale of the M I paid off my Vue. Well better leave enough alone right now, guess quick enough for a small suv....I just installed the intake today. Humm maybe I'll just lower it a bit and put some nice rims and tires to make it handle better. Thanks for the tips tho..True I dont want to be blowing up trannys.
