Door handle removal

Anyone know how to remove the (outside) door handles on a 2006 Vue? And do you know if they are the same handles from previous years?

I want to change my black door handles for body colored ones. Maybe I can find them in a junk yard if they are the same for all the years (probably not many 2006's in junk yard). Silver should be easy to find.

Any help appreciated.

Not sure if the door handles are the same for fit year to year.

To remove:

Lift the handle. You will see a black plastic pin, two piece design. Inner round pin woth the outer piece. Remove the innner pin, sharp pick into the pin to try and slide it out or carefully push it in and out --don't loose it-- remove the outer portion. The handle will then slide off of its mount. If I remember correctly for the VUE it should slide back but it may be to the front. Gentle rap should start it out.
