search button

is it just me or is there something wrong with the search button on this site? when ever i try to search something it would either give me no answer or just a couple. when i input "car (thinking that i would get alot since it's not espicific) i onlly got a bout 2 or 3 finds. are you guys having the same problems?


i tried it on both my mozilla and internet explorer. dont work on neither one.

Last week I did the same thing, and I used "Car" too. I made a thread in community center and charlie said that the forum was rebuilding itself and I thought it was done already but I suppose not.

The past few times I've used the "search" option it hasn't worked.

Just yesterday I was searching for the thread I wrote regarding the exchanging of my spoiler and finally gave up after 10 minutes of no results.

According to the search option, there are no results of "aero-wing." - yeah, right!

The search database was one of the last things that needed to be repaired after the hacker attack from a few weeks ago. I had to delete the index when I restored the database. Up until this morning, I was not able to get the forum to completely rebuild its search index after numerous attempts over the past three weeks. However, after closely watching the database rebuild for two straight days, it finally finished this morning so everything should be working properly now. Let me know if you are still having search issues.
