anyone else seen these ground effects beforE?

I've seen the same ground effect kit on both an L200 and L300, dealer-installed with 17" rims. It looks much better in person than those small pictures. The panels are well-integrated into the lines of the car, and look stock. Of course, dealer markup was an incredible ripoff, but at least if you buy it from them, it's covered under the new car warranty.

Saw it at Saturn of Raleigh on a gold L300 (quickly sold).

Looks great but may easily be damaged on driveways such as mine where a bad pitch angle causes numerous vehicles to bottom and rub.

They sell this bodykit at all the Twin Cities Saturn dealerships, too. They had a LS300 decked out at the Minneapolis Auto show a few weeks ago. The rim selection left something to be desired, but the bodykit looked good in person and seemed to be of good quality. Don't know what the cost was, but talked to a salesman I know about it. He did mention that it liked to scrape steep-angled inclines, as said before.

Good-lookin' body kit. I wonder when my neighboring dealership Saturn of Fremont (about 15 miles away from Pleasanton) will modify a car like this? <fingers crossed>

That kit will fit on LW's, too. Don't know if it's "offered" on the L-wagons, but it would fit, regardless. Both L-series sedans and wagons share the same lower body panels.

Does anyone know who this kit is made by? And can it be purchased anywhere? I just got my L300, and I asked the dealer several times about the body kit and they knew nothing about it :( I don't care if it will affect my lease!!! I HAVE TO HAVE IT!!!

Oh, and would it look stupid without the spoiler? I have none on my car :P

I e-mailed Saturn of Pleasanton, and to my suprise I got a reply on a Sunday ! The person was unsure because their parts dept was closed but will research it and get back to me some time on Monday ? Hope so ! She also included a ph#925-416-6400/parts dept. If I hear back from her I will post some info on availability, I had brunch with some of the local Saturn people and they have not seen or heard of the kit yet, so my guess is that its probally not Saturn optional equipment, Has any one found out if there is a aftermarket vendor for it? I'll post any info I get ASAP
