Removing Pinstripes and Wax

I was wondering how to remove the factory pinstripe on my Saturn. I also need to remove the wax from that area for a new pinstripe. I know kerosine will remove wax but is there another option? Thanks for the help.

carefully use a razor to start peeling it, and then just peel it off, best done when the car is warmed up in the sun.

I'd use a clay bar on that area to remove wax and other buildup. then follow up with rubbing alcohol. remember to re-apply wax to that area.

After removing the stripe, if there is some "glue" left where the stripe used to be, regular automobile "bug and tar remover" can really help. It's safe and non-abrasive for automobile paint.

Use a hair drier on a warm or hot day to peal the pin stripe.
