Which 2005 model are you looking forward most to seeing? ION, L300, Relay, VUE?

Post your thoughts.

Thanks!
Charlie

I'm looking forward to seeing all the 2005 models but the Relay is the only completely new Saturn which makes it more exciting for me.

While I love my VUE, I am excited to see the improvements on the ION.

Even though the Relay is a minivan, I am still excited to see it, because it is a new Saturn.

I want to see what all they've done with the Red Line ION in particular (other than the addition of red as a color), but the new grill on the sedan actually looks pretty nice in person.

I want to see the new colors and wheels on the VUE, the Relay as a whole, and I want to sit in a new ION.

I am most eager to see the 2006(?) midsized replacement for the Saturn L Series, especially the replacement for the LW300 wagon!

For 2005 I hope that the ION improvements make enough of an impact to turn sales around.

Relay? Who cares! (If I wanted a minivan the identical Chevy will be cheaper (after rebates and GM Card earnings) and my Saturn service department would still service it.)

Can I choose "None of the Above"?

There's nothing interesting about new Saturns,. I'm more interested in Chrysler 300, Chevy Cobalt and new Acura RL. Also waiting for BMW 1-series and new M5.

Of course I voted ION as it's always neat to see the improvements on the car you own.

I'm also interested to see the Relay because even though it is badge engineering at it's worst, it sounds pretty nice and I'd still like to see and test the final product. It's just too bad I can't test the panels with a rubber mallet :ugh:.

Saturn Corp has a history of making some relatively small exterior design changes and incremental technical improvements in its cars. I don't expect any radical changes in the new ION although I hope it will be improved.
I voted for the Relay because perhaps this will give us some clues about what Saturn's product line will be like when it built on combined GM assembly lines and uses metal cladding. The Relay may be essentially an updated vehicle on an old platform but the manufacturing process used to build it will be the model for the next generation of GM and Saturn.

The QC3 ION. I chose not to wait, and bought my '04 QC3. Now I want to see the '05 changes first hand!

I'd have to say, the Ion. I really like the design of the front fascia on the sedans. I'm curious of the interior mods, and mods on the QC if they did any.

As a family man I'd have to say the Relay. And then ROAD TRIP! :D

I'm not really interested in anything in Saturn's lineup right now. The one car coming out in '05 that somewhat excites me is the G6 at the dealership next door.

I am very interested in checking out the Relay but I certainly have no intentions of buying such a vehicle.

Same here - I'd like to see but will not buy, only because we already have a relatively new minivan that meets our family needs. I want to see what they came up with and try to predict how it will do against the stiff competition in the minivan segment. But who knows, if there something about it that makes it worth a trade up -- I might consider it.

I voted for the Vue though -- only because I have one. I'd like to see if the chrome headlight trim are something I can order and put on my '04 Vue.

I cant wait to see the new 2005 ION, I think it's gonna make me jealous. My husband is worried that I'll want to trade in my 2003.
