Quick question for you guys. I am looking for new front rotors, and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations as to which ones would be good. The car is a '97 SC1. Thanks for the help!

Try searching the board for brake or rotor threads. Someone recommended Wagner, and others have mentioned slotted rotors, although I'm not sure where you get those -- probably SPS:

We used to own a '97 VW Passat VR6, and I had to put on a new set of rotors. I originally wanted to go with cross-drilled rotors, but after talking with an aftermarket supplier, was convinced to go with slotted units. The cross-drilled ones are the way to go if you're heavy into "off-road" racing activities. But for everyday street use, and the occasional hard charge thru the twisties, go for the slotted ones. SPS has rotors on their website. A set of slotted rotors with s/s brakes lines is on my wish list. But since my '94 SW2 with 5-speed, 4-wheel discs and ABS only has 52000 miles on it, it'll have to wait until they actually need to be replaced!
