I have a 2000 SC2 and want to get an Air/Fuel gauge. I have seen Adam's site for the install, but he's got a pre OBDII SC1. I 'm wondering if it would work for my car? With that new Dash of hte 2000, the center pod is just asking for gauges. Since I drag race and and getting the Venom 400 I think this would be a logical and helpful gauge to have. Any suggestions on the matter?

yes the air/fuel gage will work on pre obd-ii saturns. i had one on my 92sc and you basically connect it to power, ground, and tap into the wire that goes to the o2 sensor that's on the exhuast manifold in front. easy. make sure you get one that's made to work with single wire o2 sensors and you'll be ok.

It gives you some indication of how rich or lean your car is running in real time, by taking voltage readings from your O2 sensor. It is IMO a fairly important gauge to have with nay decent amount of mods. There are various gauges that will work from around $50 up. Or if you are handy, you can build your own fairly easily.

My name Fazeman, is because I have all Faze gauges in my 95 (OBDI) SC2. Here is a list of gauges that I have: Air/Fuel, Water Temp., Volts, Oil Pressure, and working on vacuum one as we speak. They even have a "morpher" it's just a module to change the back lighting from Blue to Green or in between. It looks pretty cool, but I don't really need it just yet. Get a gauge pod first, and spend the time to cut it the right way, trust me it will look better!! You can always email me for more info on my gauges.

I'd like to see some pics of the gauges - I'm having a hard time just figuring out where to put the A/F meter in my 95 SL2.

I have a a/f gauge, as well as oil press, voltage, boost, oil temp, and EGT... three on the A-pillar, and 3 instead of my radio. Who needs tunes when you got a blow off valve? j/k... radio has been relocated.

Sounds like the man with the most gauges wins.

If you are going to get an a/f gauge, don't even bother with an autometer. It doesn't do ****. Also, for more accuracy, get a heated o2 sensor.
