Saturn or SATURNFANS Homecoming

Ok, does anyone here want to have a Saturn Homecoming? I called Saturn CAC, and they said they didn't have one planned right this minute. I don't know if they're not leaking info or what, but it'd be cool if someone knew something. How about if they don't do that, we could have a saturnfans homecoming? I'm running out of ideas here...I know Saturn would get awesome publicity if they did another one. :) Any other suggestions?

I've been toying with the idea of a SaturnFans Homecoming for a few years, and have talked to a couple people to see how it could economically be pulled off. I had hoped to have done something this fall, but I have some conflicts. If there isn't a Homecoming next summer, I think it woud be a great for all of us to get together and meet one another. Please bear with me as I work through the details.

That would be sooo cool. The last Saturn Homecoming that I remember was when my ex had her Saturn, and I didn't yet have a Saturn. It was at Sea World of San Diego, and it was just so cool to be there amongst all the other Saturn people.

That would be fun, esp. after hanging out here at Saturnfans. Some of us in the Buffalo, NY, area are trying to get something local together for this fall.

In fact I was just thinking the other day of pulling some of my connections in an attempt to see what the possibilities of getting something uniquely custom for the caravan of saturns-

I'm near Memphis and was thinking about contacting some of the higher-ups I know in the Tennessee Highway Patrol, about getting some saturns "decked up" as marked and lighted THP escort units for the Memphis to Spring Hill Saturn convoy!!!

Can you imagine? A couple of THP marked L200's, L300's, and Vue's!!!

Now that would be nice!

Any THP's on here that might want to donate their Saturn to be redone (temporarily) as marked patrol cars? I know someone here that will give me a discount and (with proper approval) could do the vinyl graphics nessasary for the THP look, so you won't loose your paint job and it can be temporary.

I just saw the video of the 1999 Homecoming. It definately looks like something not to miss. I hope there is one again soon, my family and I would definately be there!
