Okay, so newbies get labeled as New Member, then they move on to Junior Member, Member, Senior Member (1000+), then Master Member (2000+).

I just hit Master Member level. Is there a higher plane of existence? Jedi am I now?

Gotta go, some guy named Anakin is on the phone & asking for me...how do I know that? The phone is suspended in mid-air and floating towards me....

Yes, I'm an Advanced Member. Personally, I wish there was some way that length of membership was calculated into user ratings. I've been here a long time, but I only post things that I feel might be of use to people, so my post count isn't as high as some people who haven't been here as long, although I've always been an avid participant in these forums. If I'm not posting I'm almost always browsing. So what gives?

Well said. I don't beleive in a caste system.
That goes along with another post somebody had several months ago when someone else was bragging about reaching a certain milepost:
"Quality, not quantity"

Sure there are some here who have 50 million posts & basically they say the same empty things over & over again.
Then, on the other hand, there are some with a several dozen posts that transform this place into a wealth of knowledge & comaraderie.

Stars are fun, but patience grasshopper. It took me a while to get in the four digits, and while it felt wonderful, now it's just the same as it was before when I was around 400. Feels good, and you concentrate more on your spelling than your posting.

I have plans to make changes to the member levels, but like some have mentioned in this thread, I would like to somehow factor in how long you've been a registered member. I've tried a few things, but have not been happy with the results. I'll post something as soon as its ready. Just adding a sixth star seems too easy...

I can't believe I missed this message. I was reluctant to use the term "whore" to describe anything -- I was a post whore here at Saturn Fans, as I reached 400 posts in record timing (at least for me). Then I got busy with life and work, and realized my limitations. Before my SaturnFan's addiction, I was a chat whore. Now I don't think I have any addictions (at least computer related). Also, I know you don't care I'm sure, but this is my first SaturnFans post in a LONG time. Okay I'm done here.

If I had kept with my postings, I think I would be at at least 1000.
