Headlights & taillights

Hello, I'm new here. I just scored a *very* good deal on 2000 SL1. It was either SL1, Lumina, or Focus. D:

Anyhows I'm wondering could you guys point me out to suppliers that sells aftermarket euro-style taillights & headlights. I couldnt find em on Google.. Or they just dont exist? :(

Also I'd like to up my car's HP. It's kinda slow. Parts, etc that's affordable. Any suggestions? Thanx

intake/exhaust is the best place to start.. beefing up the suspension wouldn't hurt either altho no hp gains. do a search for HP mods here on the forums... there are a LOT of topics covering this.. from N/A turning to Boost... (quite a few recent topics actually).

As for euro tail/headlights... please don't. We don't need another lexus wannabe going around. I'm sorry... just my $0.02 but I can't stand alteza tails on cars that they shouldn't be on.

Altezza's are lame, please dont put them on.

Nobody makes them for Saturn's anyway, you would have to do a custom job of some sort.

The general consensus is Altezzas = Very bad. Please spend the money on an intake or an exhaust or something, not on tail lights that every poser on God's green earth has.

there isn't altezzas. And actually I think they would look good on saturns. I have the clear corners and it looks nice.

Clear corners are cool, but not altezza's. I want to get some clear corners actually. SPS sells them for $50.

If a person put altezza's on a sl2, they would have to replace the reflector bar that goes across the back of the trunk with something matching. That would either be expensive, or look bad, maybe even a combination of the 2.

I can't stand it. it looks cheap.

actually I was thinking about this yesterday when I took my car out for a good drive... I was behind a newer SL2 with the redesigned tails on them.. I really like those, I'm thinking about swapping them off a junked car onto mine. Nothing flashy, but they will add something to the car to make it different.

i noticed the new l's well this l200 i saw had the semi looking altezzi's but it was a swet looking car though it was a lexus until saw the satty badge i was like woot sweet car. drool.. silver with tinted windows, and the crome 16's. looked freaking nice.

I asked the same question and they bit my head off! i feel your pain! There aren't any euro lights for Saturns, I have looked everywhere. But if there were please put them on! You guys talk about they are so typical and boring and blah blah blah, but how many saturns do you see with euro's? none. how much more original can you get? and by the way, all you guys who hate it when people spend money on useless junk that doesn't make the car go any faster? do you have rims? do they make the car go any faster, or are they just for looks? I think I've proven my point. I like the clear taillight look and just because I like it and everyone else hates it is original enuff for me!

i agree with tight. if he wants some for his car, let him get some. although he would have to have them custom made. it is afterall HIS car. i think your car reflects who you are and if he wants some, more power to him. you shouldn't not do something just because some people dont want you to ( horrable grammar i know). let him make his own decisoin. if you want clear side lights look on ebay. i think they are going for aroung $35-$45.

also, tight, what kind of wheels are those? i just ordered a set of 17x7" motegi mr7's in white. i think white wheels are the best looking, especialy on black ( yours) and blue (mine).

awesome, what sizewheels/tires. i think im going to go with some 215/40/17 kumho ecsta 711. best tire i can find for $67 each in that size.

ooh man, i just looked at your pics of your car and that speaker box and interior lighting is sweet. where can you get that thin light wire and how do you turn it on and off. i would love some of that stuff.

Thanks. I have Falken Ziex 502 205/50/16 tires that are nice, but not the greatest thing either. The el strips can be bought from Street Glow and other neon manufacturers--WARNING--they don't usually come with any plug or switch so you must be able to hard wire them. I have mine tapped to the key switch so they'll turn on and off with the ignition--plus I have a cut-off switch for daytime.
